A beautiful and evocative portrait of a woman seated at a cafe waiting in anticipation. Gorgeous rich blue hues, wonderful technique and composition and a glorious and unusual vertical shape. It is signed and also has the original label on the reverse. It possibly dates to the 1940s. It does not have a frame but has lots of beauty and character just as is, either leaning on a sideboard or on
